Julie Berg, M.A., ACC, President of HRD Consulting, is a professional workshop leader, coach and organization development consultant. She has over 25 years experience across industries including healthcare, education, business services, engineering, manufacturing, technology, and non-profits. As an internal consultant, she was responsible for leadership assessment and development, team coaching, training design and facilitation. Julie also managed a corporate training function.
Clients of HRD Consulting have praised Julie for her energetic and engaging presentations whether in-person or online. Her interactive approach to training design strengthens on-the-job application of newly acquired knowledge and skills. She provides solutions that address the core issues of workplace and personal effectiveness. Julie is comfortable working with a variety of staff, from nurses to engineers to customer service providers, both in the U.S. and Europe.
As a coach, Julie works with emerging and high potential leaders in small to mid-size corporations. Individuals engage Julie to support them on a path of self-discovery and exploration of important choices to be made.
Julie holds a master’s degree in Human Resources Development from the University of Minnesota and is a graduate of The Coaches Training Institute (CTI). She has earned the designation ACC (Associate Certified Coach) from the International Coach Federation. She is an active member of the Association for Talent Development (where she served for over 10 years as the facilitator of the ATD-GTC Coaching Special Interest Group), Minnesota Organization Development Network, Society for Human Resource Management, International Coach Federation (ICF) and has served on the board of the ICF Minnesota chapter.
