The new year usually focuses on keeping (or getting!) our bodies into the best shape but what about our brains? As a coach, I’m focused on providing my clients with strategies to keep their operating system–their brain–in optimal condition. This is why in December 2023, I completed a 16-week certificate course that took a deep dive into the science behind motivation, goal-setting, emotion and yes, optimal physical health. Ever heard of the mind-body connection? Well, it’s real and there are practical ways to make the most of every effort to achieve ‘whole-self’ health. Through my training at The Neuroscience School & Dr. Irena O’Brien, a cognitive neuroscientist who has dedicated almost 30 years to the study of psychology and neuroscience, I learned proven-by-research pathways I can share with my clients as together we navigate their desire to become better, different and happier/more satisfied in life. If you’re skeptical about coaching, know that I dispense with ‘woo-woo’ techniques and get to work with what works!
