Hi, I’m Julie Berg, Principal Consultant with HRD Consulting. I lead workshops, coach leaders, and help organizations build capacity and resilience through tailored learning and coaching solutions. With over 30 years of experience across industries like healthcare, education, government, manufacturing, technology, and non-profits, I’ve had the chance to work with a wide range of teams and leaders. Earlier in my career, I worked internally as a consultant responsible for leadership development, team coaching, and training design. I also led a corporate training department, which gave me great insight into what works (and what doesn’t) when it comes to supporting people.

Clients often tell me they appreciate my energy and how I make learning engaging—whether we’re working together in person or virtually. I design interactive training sessions that help people apply new ideas to their everyday work. I enjoy working with all kinds of professionals, from IT professionals, nurses and engineers to customer service teams.

As a coach, I love partnering with emerging and high-potential leaders—especially those in small and mid-sized companies—who are exploring how to lead with clarity and purpose. My coaching style helps people reflect, discover what matters most to them, and make choices that strengthen how they lead others.

I earned my master’s degree in Human Resources Development from the University of Minnesota, and I’m a graduate of The Co-Active Training Institute. I also hold the ACC (Associate Certified Coach) designation from the International Coaching Federation. I stay active in the professional development space through groups like the Association for Talent Development and the ICF Minnesota chapter, where I’ve served on the board and led a coaching-focused group for more than a decade.
